Assessment & recognition

The students are assessed in each component of the programme: the Teaching Units, the Practical Placement and the Interculturality module.

The professional study resulting from the practical placement fieldwork is presented at the end of the training programme before a viva panel made up of professionals from different European countries.

The weight of each component in the evaluation process is as follows:

Teaching units	40%
Interculturality module	20%
Professional study from placement including: Written report Viva Field and academic assessment	40%

Trainees who achieve satisfactory results in all the components of the programme will receive:

An AESCULAPIUS certificate, approved by the schools of public health which are taking part in the programme.
In accordance with the new dispositions recommended by the European Commission from January 1st 2006, a EUROPASS document can be awarded to all the trainees who have followed the training course outside their residential country.
Within the E.C.T.S. system, the EUROPHAMILI training course will be considered as worth up to 30 credits for post graduate students.
