European Health Cooperation Database

This Database provides information on crossborder cooperation as well as many different sorts of partnership between individuals and institutions of different European countries.

Health institutions are cooperating all over Europe in the health and healthcare field. Some of these actions receive funds from the European Union, some do not. Some are identified and well known, others receive a limited publicity.

Although field work is produced daily in the health sector by individuals or institutions, little has been done to gather the information or to analyse this aspect of European integration.

The overall goal of the European Health Cooperation Database is to fill this gap by identifying transnational partnerships and cooperation in Europe. This first step is necessary in order to enhance the image of these actions thereby increasing their impact. In turn this should greatly facilitate their promotion and subsequent development…

This Database provides information on crossborder cooperation as well as many different sorts of partnerships between individuals and institutions of different European countries. The activities presented in the Database involve institutions from at least two different European countries engaged in a partnership in the health and healthcare field.

We have deliberately selected a limited number of items to favour speedy use of the Database. For full information, please contact the cooperation project representative via e-mail or consult the cooperation project web site. These items are accessible on the Database.

HOPE, the Standing Committee of the Hospitals of the European Union, is the EUROPHAMILI partner in charge of running the Database.
