Border care contracting between a hospital and an insurer

The hospital St Lucas is awaiting signature of an agreement to allow patients affiliated to the Dutch insurer OZ to benefit from its facilities. The medical cares included in the agreement would be defined in advance, as well as the procedures to follow. The fields proposed are orthopaedics, maternity, plastic surgery, haemodialysis. This would be expandable to other areas in the second phase. However, at this stage, the Dutch insurer, already involved with other hospitals, has still not signed up.
