Aims of the project: -to collect data on air pollution in schools -to compare indoor European policies -to make recommendations for the school environment. Study of various steps of insulin action from the insulin receptor until it reaches the cell mucleus. Special emphasis on the investigation of pathological changes of the molecular mechanism of insulin action in insulin resistance, obesity and NIDDMP of the aged people. It aims at developing new drug-candidates for the curing of the consequences of this diverse disease.
