Vaccination study on patients with metastatic malignant melanoma. Some patients are referred to Berlin after basic examination in Denmark.
Rare forms of Dementia
Creation of a database of information about rare forms of dementia. Dissemination through Internet and Intranet systems. Contents: disease-based entries (disease name, synonym, description, symptoms, causes, epidemiological data available, treatment, clinical trials, diagnostic procedures, list of sources). Information provided by relevant experts and regularly brouht up to date. European Commission fundings.
C-CARE
Development of tools in support of continuity of care by collecting and storing essential, relevant and up-to-date patient health-related information accessible to authorised users through both standard internet technology and traditional voice telephony. E SCOPE
Aim: to make the fully digital microscope available for routine diagnostic practice by incorporating the standards for medical imaging, archiving and communication and enabling the certification and accreditation procedures set up by the diagnostic pathology community. Development and clinical validation of an automatic system for the measurement of global and regional quantitative diagnostic information about heart performance from echocardiographic sequences of various modalities, including contrast enhances Power Doppler, Acoustic quantification and standard grey level B-mode images. AMIT
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) clinical benefits (excellent soft-tissue contrast, good lesion sensitivity and the absence of ionizing radiation) are generally agreed on. The development work of the project focuses on the most critical items, namely accurate and reliable instrument tracking, adequate visualisation, interactive and intuitive user interface, and use of preoperative images together with intraoperative images.
