Transparency of the market for medical aids in the Euregion Meuse Rhine - Border Region
This project is included in the INTERREG III project "Cross border Health Care in the Euregion Meuse Rhine". It would be advantageous for patients and insures to have access to the medical aids market to have adequate information about specification, quality and costs of comparable products abroad. The project focus on the most frequently prescribed aids. The result of the analysis will be available on the website developed for the cross border health care in the euregion.

In this project subsidized by INTERREG II, telemedicine is used in order to improve care in the sanitary region of Alentejo, for minimally invasive surgery techniques. In the 1st phase, the Portuguese doctors received training in Caceres. In the 2nd one, the training is available through visioconference.

Air ambulance
Norwegian ambulance helicopter sent for emergency situations on the other side of the border. It can take the patient to his home hospital for specialised care. Border region.
Analysis of the role of cultural differences in the treatment of foreign patients
Study on the differences in the expectations of foreign patients compared to the local population. This project is included in the INTERREG III project "Cross border care in the Euregion Meuse Rhine".
Assistance with ambulances across the border (Bov area)
Agreement to respond quickly to emergency calls in the Bov area (Denmark). Assistance with ambulances from Flensburg (Germany).
Assistance with ambulances across the border (Toender & Hoejer area)
Agreement for a quick response to emergency calls in the Toender and Hoejer area (Denmark). Assistance by the German ambulances from Niebüll.

Teachers and tutors from Norway engaged by Ostersunds hospital (Sweden).
