Background
Martine M Bellanger, has been senior lecturer in Health Economics at the National School of Public health in Rennes, France, since 1998. Previously, she taught micro-economics and mathematics for economics at the University of Nantes, in which she wrote her PhD.
Her main interests for both research and teaching are in health care reform in E.U member states, and economic evaluation. She is involved in European research groups linked to the London School of Economics (LSE) and to the European Health Management Association (EHMA).
She enjoys taking part in international teams, for they are inspiring and motivating since they lead to new paths towards better understanding of world-wide systems and offer great opportunities for highlighting creativity and openmindness.

Sadie?s career to date has spanned both the private and public sector. She joined the cross border health and social care organisation, Cooperation and Working Together (CAWT) in April 2003. Her core role is to mange and implement CAWT?s communication and PR strategy. She also leads on specific cross border projects in relation to HR, Recruitment and Equality. In addition, she represents the CAWT Development Centre on the cross border Health Promotion sub group.
Before joining CAWT, Sadie was in involved in the establishment of the Northern Ireland Business Education Partnership (NIBEP) in 1995 by the Departments of Education and Employment & Learning in Northern Ireland. The objective of this initiative was to forge stronger links between the education and private sectors. She enjoyed a variety of roles within NIBEP including Development Officer, Project Manager and latterly as Acting Chief Executive before moving to CAWT.
Sadie?s career in the private sector included a number of marketing/ business posts in the financial services (Irish Life plc) and educational publishing (Mary Glasgow Publications) sectors in London.
Her qualifications include a Masters in Marketing through the University of Ulster and a degree in Business Studies from Limerick University. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and also engages in part time lecturing and training for the University of Ulster.

I have a PhD in management and I mainly specialize in human resource management, work motivation, and compensation systems.
Since 1992 I have been involved in initial and continuing professional education and training.
In the field of international cooperation, I have been involved in TEMPUS and LEONARDO DA VINCI programs. Under the TEMPUS programme, in cooperation with an international group of teachers, I have been engaged in the development and teaching of Human Relations Module for Master of Public Health Management studies at Kaunas University of Medicine.
My research activities are mainly in the field of human resource management in Health care institutions.

I am medical doctor, specialist in internal medicine and diabetology. I have been working in the Medical Academy in Lödz for 17 years mostly teaching students.
During my six month stay in the Middle ?East I got to know the organisation of medical care in the Persian Gulf countries. Since 1996 my job in the Institute of Occupational Medicine has been connected with health care organisation in Poland. I am the head of Health Care Organisation, Management and Economics. Because of my professional education my main interest is connected with organisation of health care for diabetics and economic problems related to it. The role of clinical research and implementation of results in health care organisation are also one of my interest.
During the transition period, I was involved in reforming the Polish Health care system.
I have been the Chairman of the Executive Board of Integrated Area Health Services in Lödz Baluty District for four years.
