Background

I studied Medicine in Salamanca (Spain) and after working as Internal Medicine Resident, I shifted my career towards the occupational health field. I obtained my Master Degree in Oc-cupational Health in McGill University (Montreal, Canada).

Since 1995, I am professor at the Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública in Granada, Spain. I am the Director of the Master of Public Health. I usually teach on Research methods, epi-demiology, and environmental and occupational health.

In addition to teach, I am usually involved in consultancy activities for the Regional Ministry of Health of Andalucia (Spain). We are strongly involved in organizing and training the occupa-tional health network of the Andalusian Health Service. My research activities are related to inequalities in health, occupational and environmental epidemiology and adverse reproduc-tive outcomes.

Finally, I will start a new experience as a Tutor in the Europhamili course.
