Background
I started my career in 1992 as an Organisation and Information System Manager before holding positions of Human Resources Manager in different hospitals where I particularly worked on unit organisation, team management and processes re-engineering.
I currently work as a finance & IT Director in one of the biggest French academic hospitals : le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Rennes. I specialised, among other topics, in finance management, budget and investment planning, budget decentralisation, cost analysis, debt and treasury running, financial procedures improvement, strategic management, management control and change management. I am still strongly involved in HR Management projects within the University Hospital and outside thanks to my commitment in various teaching and training activities (ENSP, Faculties of Medicine and Economic Sciences in Rennes).
This diversified professional course provides me with an extensive experience in cross-functional team management, work planning and project management with doctors, pharmacists, professors or engineers.
The European Master of Business Administration (EuroMBA) training program I completed in January 2001 gave me a strong intercultural experience in the European business environment and a good command of new IT tools such as e-learning, web databases and knowledge management. The title of my Master Thesis was : "How Can the Concept of Core Competencies Help European Hospitals to Adapt to their New Environment?"
