Background
I am a graduate from the University of Rennes 2 and University of Rennes 1.
In 1994, I studied for a Sociology Thesis (DEA) and in 2004 I completed a post graduated diploma in management and assessment of projects (DESS).
I currently work in ENSP in MATISS department, (management, audit and technique of administration of health and social institutions) as educational assistant in the design and organisation of training courses. A large part of my job is to assist lecturers at the school to set up training sessions within the framework of continuing and initial education offered by ENSP. But I also have the opportunity to work on future training perspectives. In addition, I participate in teaching and the research field. I offer advice and support for students within the framework of a « dissertation support system » aimed at helping ENSP trainees to produce good professional dissertations. I am also involved in a number of assessments within the public health field.
I have a keen interest in a wide range of topics in the public health sector. Last year, I especially worked on a major training project dealing with hospital reforms. This particular project involves the reorganisation and modernization of hospitals in France in 4 sectors : Planning territorial health care provision ; finance and budget ; new governance ; quality, risks management and assessment of professional practice.
I will soon be participating in an assessment of hospital managers: “How can a hospital director reconcile state logic and local necessities”.
I am greatly looking forward to being an academic tutor etc…

Background
I am a researcher in political sciences. Graduated in English and then from the Institut d’études politiques (Institute of political sciences) of Rennes, I have been working at the LAPSS (Laboratory of Analysis of Social and Health Policies) of the National School of Public Health (ENSP) since 1999.
I work on social policies and I am particularly interested in social care. My research, led both at a national level and at a European level, concerns subjects such as care systems towards frail elderly as well as childcare policies. I study and compare public policies implemented in different European countries and try to understand how families and the state cope with these problems.
I am just starting a three year research on “Workers under pressure” (the “WOUPS”), that is to say workers who have staggered and irregular hours of work and have either young children to care for or frail elderly parents. This research, funded by the ANR (Research National Agency), concerns seven European countries (France, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Netherlands, United-Kingdom and Germany). It is based on policy analysis and on case studies in the different countries.
Background
I have been working at the ENSP for nine years, both as a researcher and a teacher.
My main fields of research are: Youth policies at European, national and local levels; Territorialisation of social and health policies (in terms of decision-making process and implementation, of partnership, and policy networks) ; Users’ participation.
I am involved in various research teams at national and European levels.
As a teacher, I organise training sessions, in particular toward the inspectors and doctors in the field of health and social affairs. I also participation in methodological sessions and support our student in the production of their dissertations.
